BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – After posting a quartet of wins, Lindsey Wilson’s Sergio Ybarra has been named the Mid-South Conference Men’s Swimmer of the Week honors, conference officials announced on Monday.

Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.

Sergio Ybarra – Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) – So. – San Felipe, Venezuela

• Ybarra posted three wins and NAIA provisional cuts in the Blue Raiders dual meet with Campbellsville.
• The sophomore opened the meet clocking a 1:56.57 to win the 200 fly. 
• Ybarra followed that up winning both the 400 IM (4:06.90) and the 500 free (4:35.81), clipping the provisional cut in each.
• He closed out the meet as part of Lindsey Wilson’s 400 free relay that placed second.
• Ybarra earns his second swimmer of the week honor of the season and the sixth of his career.
