BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – After posting three wins in his season debut, Cumberlands (Ky.) Titouan Bernot has been named the Mid-South Conference Men’s Swimmer of the Week honors, conference officials announced on Monday.
Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.
Titouan Bernot – Cumberlands (Ky.) – Fr. – Nancy, France
- Bernot won a trio of events, with three national cuts in their dual meet against Garner-Webb.
- The freshman pulled away from the field and clocked a 1:39.70 to win the 200 yard free. That time ranks 10th in the NAIA this season.
- Bernot followed that up winning the 100 free with a time of 46.42.
- He closed out the meet as part of the Patriots’ 200 free relay that posted a winning time of 1:23.96.
- Bernot earns his first swimmer of the week honor of the season and of his career.
