MARION, Ind. -- Cumberland (Tenn.), Cumberlands (Ky.), and Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) all scored points during the NAIA Women's Track & Field Championship hosted by Indiana Wesleyan.
Cumberlands led the way with 22 points to post a 10th-place team finish. The Patriots tallied 11 points on the final day.
Cumberland scored all 13 of its points on Friday to jump into a tie for 22nd. Lindsey Wilson ended the championship with 4.5 points to tie for 50th.
Cumberland's Praise Idamadudu finished in the top eight to score points in both the 200 and 400-meter races. Idamadudu finished second in the 400 with a time of 54.23 seconds and picked up four more points for her fifth-place finish in the 200. She crossed the finish line in the 200 in 24.34 seconds.
Cumberlands' Abia Kante and Alina Boshchuk each tallied two points on Friday. Kante posted a seventh-place finish with a time of 25.15 seconds in the 200, while Boshchuk finished seventh in the 5,000 meters with a time of 17:15.25.
Cumberlands' Viola Jepleting earned the Patriots one point for her eighth-place finish in the 1,500 meters. She crossed the finish line in 4:32.01.
Cumberlands final points came from its 4x100-meter relay team. The quartet of Allie Bryson, Abia Kante, Lillian Guzman, and MaQuoia Raglan produced a time of 46.05 seconds, good enough for third place and six points.
Lindsey Wilson's Rosemond Owusu scored the Blue Raiders' only points on Friday in the high jump. She posted a height of five feet and 6.5 inches to tie for fifth and earn 3.5 points towards the team total.
Cumberland's Isabelle Aalders also placed in the high jump. She scored one point for her eighth-place finish with a jump of 5-5.25 feet.
All scorers at the national championships earn NAIA All-America Team honors.
British Columbia captured the national championship with 105 points. Life (Ga.) finished second with 77 points.
