Mid-South Conference Announces Volleyball Players of the Week

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- Cumberland's (Tenn.) Kaleigh Glass, and Cumberlands' (Ky.) Brynnley Bryant and Savanah Jolly are the Mid-South Conference Volleyball Players of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.
 
MSC Volleyball Attacker of the Week
Brynnley Bryant – Cumberlands (Ky.) – Jr. – Outside Hitter – Wilmington, Ohio

  • Bryant averaged 4.5 kills while posting a .233 attacking percentage to help Cumberlands to a 3-1 weekend at the Keiser (Fla.) Invitational.
  • She tallied double-digit kills in all four matches, including a weekend-high 17 in a sweep of Texas Wesleyan.
  • Bryant finished the weekend with a double-double -- 14 kills and 10 digs against Southeastern (Fla.) -- while amassing 24 digs, six blocks, and three service aces.
  • She earns her first weekly honor this season.
 
MSC Volleyball Defender of the Week
Kaleigh Glass – Cumberland (Tenn.) – Sr. – Libero – Surprise, Ariz.
  • Glass averaged 4.6 digs per set while helping Cumberland to a 2-2 weekend during the Phoenix Invitational.
  • She posted a weekend-high 19 digs in a 3-0 win over Rio Grande (Ohio) and matched that number in a loss to No. 2-ranked Eastern Oregon.
  • Glass finished the opening weekend with 11 assists and six service aces.
  • She garners her first weekly honor this season.
 
MSC Volleyball Setter of the Week
Savanah Jolly – Cumberlands (Ky.) – Sr. – Setter – Louisville, Ky.
  • Jolly averaged 9.1 assists per set while posting a .300 attacking percentage from the setter position for Cumberlands last week.
  • While playing limited rotations in the Patriots' first match, Jolly averaged 10.2 assists over the next three matches
  • She recorded her weekend-best 45 assists and 26 digs in a five-set setback to Southeastern.
  • Jolly finished with 38 assists, three kills, and seven digs in a 3-0 win over No. 9-ranked Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio).
  • She earns her first weekly honor this season.
