BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- Cumberlands (Ky.) leads three Mid-South Conference teams who earn a mention in the NAIA Women's Volleyball Coaches’ Preseason Top 25 Poll, NAIA officials announced on Wednesday.

Cumberlands is the lone ranked MSC team at No. 10, while Cumberland (Tenn.) and Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) earned voting points and sit just outside the Top 25.

Cumberlands reached the NAIA National Tournament final site last season while posting a 36-1 record. The Patriots open their season on Friday against Goshen (Ind.) at the Keiser (Fla.) Invitational.

Cumberland finished 2025 with a 25-14 record while Lindsey Wilson ended last season at 29-11, earning a trip to the national tournament.

Cumberland opens its 2026 season against Rio Grande (Ohio) on Friday in the Phoenix Classic, while Lindsey Wilson faces Spring Arbor (Mich.) on Friday at the Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) Tiger Kickoff Invitational.

Northwestern (Iowa) is the No. 1 team in the preseason poll. Eastern Oregon is No. 2, followed by Concordia (Neb.), Indiana Wesleyan, and Corban (Ore.).

The first regular-season poll is scheduled to be released on Wednesday, Sept. 2.
