BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- Cumberlands' (Ky.) Sara Zampedri has been named NAIA Women's Volleyball First Team All-American, NAIA officials announced on Tuesday.
The honor caps an outstanding season in which Zampedri was named the Mid-South Conference Player of the Year and the AVCA Southeast Region Player of the Year.
She averaged 3.7 kills per set and a .269 attacking percentage while leading Cumberlands to the MSC regular-season and tournament titles, and a 36-1 record.
Zampedri is one of 14 women's volleyball student-athletes to earn first-team honors. She earned NAIA Third Team All-American honors in 2024.
