YPSILANTI, Mich. -- Cumberlands (Ky.) finished fifth at the 2026 NAIA Women’s Golf National Championship at Eagle Crest Golf Club.
The Patriots had the fourth-best round of the day to move up one spot and finish the tournament with a three-round total of 927 (312-305-310). Cumberlands ended just eight strokes off SCAD Savannah's (Ga.) winning score of 919 (310-301-308).
Dalton State (Ga.) finished second with a 920 (301-307-312), Keiser (Fla.) ended in third with a 922 (310-309-303), and Indiana Wesleyan finished fourth at 926 (313-308-305).
The tournament was reduced to 54 holes after multiple first-round delays necessitated the adjustment.
Cumberlands' Atchariya Thanaudomkul led the Patriots during the tournament, posting a three-round total of 230 (78-77-75). She shot a 1-under par 35 on the outward nine before finishing with a team-best 3-over par 75 today. Thanaudomkul earned all-tournament honors for her 11th-place finish.
Jasmine Points joined Thanaudomkul on the all-tournament team -- reserved for the top-15 golfers and ties. She finished tied for 15th with a 231 (79-74-78). Ainslee Cruce missed all-tournament honors by one stroke. She finished tied for 18th with a 232 (76-77-79).
Lindsey Wilson's Kayla Saunders -- who made the cut as an individual -- finished tied for 23rd after posting a 233 (75-80-78).
Texas Wesleyan's Makena Junkin won the individual national championship with a three-round total of 220 (74-73-73).
