Baskin, Then Earn Mid-South Conference Baseball Weekly Honors
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.-- Cumberland’s (Tenn.) Logan Baskin and Wilser Then are the Mid-South Conference Players of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.
Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.
MSC Baseball Player of the Week
Wilser Then - Cumberland (Tenn.) - Sr. - Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
- Then batted .636 on the week to help Cumberland (Tenn.) go 4-0 with wins over Reinhardt University (Ga.) and a series sweep against Georgetown College (Ky.)
- Then’s best performance was game one of the series with Georgetown college, Then blasted three home runs in game one and added six RBIs.
- Then’s final statline is 7-for-11, one double, four home runs, 11 RBIs, ten runs scored.
- Then earns his first weekly conference honors of the season.

Logan Baskin - Cumberland (Tenn.) - Gr. - Mt. Juliet, Tenn.
- Baskin tossed a dominant complete game 13-2 win over Georgetown.
- Baskin threw seven innings, struck out nine batters, allowed six hits, and did not allow a walk in his outing.
- Baskin moves to 4-2 on the year with the win against Georgetown.
- Baskin earns his first weekly conference honors of the season.
