BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Tennessee Wesleyan's Cameron Compton is the Mid-South Conference Men's Bowler of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.
Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.
Cameron Compton – Tennessee Wesleyan – Sr. – Hixson, Tenn.
- Compton posted two top-10 finishes over the weekend, including winning the Thomas Burris Memorial on Sunday in Louisville, Ky.
- He recorded a 238.8 average in his four individual games on Sunday to take home the title.
- On Saturday at the Lynne Jordan Memorial, Compton averaged 219.8 to finish eighth.
- His top games for each day were a 246 on Saturday and a 279 on Sunday.
- Compton finished the weekend with a 229.3 average.
- He helped Tennessee Wesleyan to a fifth-place finish in the Jordan and a team title in the Burris.
- Compton earns his first MSC Men's Bowler of the Week honor this season.
