Five MSC Teams Ranked in NAIA Men’s Wrestling Coaches’ Poll

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Five Mid-South Conference teams are ranked in the NAIA Men's Wrestling Top 25 Poll, national office officials announced on Thursday.
 
Cumberlands (Ky.) is the highest-ranked MSC team in the poll. The Patriots garnered 141 points, slotting them seventh.  Cumberlands has 11 grapplers ranked, led by Riley Bettich, who is sixth at 133 pounds
 
Campbellsville (Ky.) fell one spot to No. 8 after earning 139 points. Campbellsville has eight wrestlers ranked in their respective weight classes. Jasitin Kubwimana is the highest-ranked Tiger in the poll, coming in at No. 4 at 165 pounds.
 
Cumberland (Tenn.) dropped one spot to 11th, garnering 122 points. Victor Guzman holds the top spot in the 149-pound weight class. The Phoenix have an additional seven wrestlers ranked.
 
For the first time this season, Georgetown (Ky.) is ranked in the top 25. The Tigers earned 54 points and are ranked 23rd. Georgetown has five wrestlers ranked, led by Navarro Nanpuya, who is ranked eighth at 184 pounds.
 
Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) fell seven spots to No. 24. The Blue Raiders earned 52 points and have four wrestlers ranked. Adrian Ayala is the highest-ranked Lindsey Wilson wrestler, coming in at No. 4 at 141 pounds.
 
Rio Grande (Ohio) is mentioned in the receiving votes section of the poll with 11 points. Bruce Wagers is the lone Rio Grande wrestler ranked in the poll, coming in at No. 16 at 285 pounds.
 
Life (Ga.) holds the top spot in the poll with 261 points, while Grand View (Iowa) is second with 257 points. Southeastern (Fla.)  is third with 221 points, while Indiana Tech and Oklahoma City round out the top five with 180 and 170 points, respectively.
