Four Mid-South Teams Ranked in NAIA Men’s Wrestling Coaches’ Poll

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Four Mid-South Conference teams are ranked, and two other teams earned a mention in the NAIA Men's Wrestling Top 25 Poll, national office officials announced on Thursday.
 
Campbellsville (Ky.) is the highest-ranked MSC team in the poll. The Tigers garnered 154 points to be slotted seventh. Campbellsville has 10 wrestlers ranked in their respective weight classes, Jasitin Kubwimana, who is ranked fourth at 165 pounds.
 
Cumberlands (Ky.) is moved up four spots to No. 9 with 139 points. Cumberlands has 11 grapplers ranked, led by Riley Bettic, who is sixth at 133 pounds.
 
 
Cumberland (Tenn.) also represents the conference in the top 10, garnering 137 points in 10th. Victor Guzman holds the top spot in the 149-pound weight class. The Phoenix have an additional seven wrestlers ranked.
 
 
Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) moved up five spots to No. 17. The Blue Raiders earned 59 points and have four wrestlers ranked. Adrian Ayala is the highest-ranked Lindsey Wilson wrestler, coming in at No. 4 at 141 pounds.
 
Rio Grande (Ohio) and Georgetown (Ky.) are mentioned in the receiving votes section. Rio Grande earned 22 points and has a pair of individuals ranked. The Tigers received 10 points with one individual ranking.
 
Grand View (Iowa) holds the top spot in the poll with 261 points, while Life (Ga.) is second with 259 points. Southeastern (Fla.)  is third with 231 points, while Indiana Tech and Oklahoma City round out the top five with 193 and 176 points, respectively.
