Bettich Named Mid-South Men’s Wrestler of the Week
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Cumberlands’ (Ky.) Riley Bettich has been named the Mid-South Conference Men’s Wrestler of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.
 
Riley Bettich – Cumberlands (Ky.) – Jr. – 133 pounds – Crown Point, Ind.

• Bettich went 6-0 on the week with all six victories coming in duals.
• He pinned Georgetown’s (Ky.) Richie Patanjo in the second period.
• At the NWCA/USMC National Duals, Bettich posted a 5-0 record with a ranked win.
• He earned three decisions, one major decision, and forfeit victory at the duals.
• Bettich  earned a 4-2 decision over Izaeh Beavers (No.4) of Campbellsville (Ky.).
• He then posted a 15-2 major decision over Southeastern’s (Fla.) Erick Hair.
• Bettich picked up an 8-3 decision over Blake Wooley of Providence (Mont.).
• He closed out the week with a 7-2 decision against Oklahoma City’s Citrano.
• Bettich earns his first weekly honor this season.
