BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Lindsey Wilson’s (Ky.) Sergio Ybarra has been selected as the Mid-South Conference Men’s Swimmer of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.
 
Sergio Ybarra – Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) – So. – San Felipe, Venezuela

• Ybarra won three events and clipped four NAIA provisional standards at the Fall Frenzy.
• The sophomore touched the wall in 16:14.90 for the 1650 free, marking the top time in the NAIA this season and achieving a provisional cut. 
• Ybarra followed that up by winning both the 400 IM (4:14.19) and the 500 free (4:41.49) with provisional cut times.
• He closed out this meet clocking a 1:47.20 to finish runner-up in the 200 free.
• Ybarra earns his first swimmer of the week honor of the season and the fifth of his career.
