BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Cumberlands’ (Ky.) Alexander Poulsen has been selected as the Mid-South Conference Men’s Swimmer of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.
 
Alexander Poulsen – Cumberlands (Ky.) – Fr. – Birkerød, Denmark

• Poulsen collected six wins and achieved five NAIA standards over two meets on the week.
• The freshman clocked 44.29 to win the 100-yard free and break the Cumberlands school record.
• Poulsen followed that up winning both the 50 free (20.50) and the 100 fly (50.16) in the meet with Lindsey Wilson.
• He was part of four Patriot winning relays, including the 200 free relay that hit an A cut with a time of 1:24.28.
• Poulsen earns his first swimmer of the week honor of the season and of his career.
