BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Lindsey Wilson’s (Ky.) Ola Wyryzkowska, Cumberland (Tenn.) Hazel Konkel, and Cumberlands' (Ky.) Savanah Jolly are the Mid-South Conference Volleyball Players of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.

MSC Volleyball Attacker of the Week

Ola Wyrzykowska – Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) – Sr. – Outside Hitter – Wegorzewo, Poland

• Wyrzykowska averaged 3.75 kills while helping the Blue Raiders go 3-1 on the week at the Texas Two Step Tournament.
• She posted three straight double-doubles during the week with 14 kills and 12 digs in a 3-1 win over Louisiana Christian and 15 kills and 17 digs in a 3-1 win over Rochester Christian.
• Wyrzykowska saved her best performance for last as she recorded 16 kills and 26 digs in the 3-1 win over Texas Wesleyan.
• Wyrzykowska finished the weekend with 60 kills, 62 digs, and six service aces.
• She earns her first weekly honor this season and the second of her career.

 
MSC Volleyball Defender of the Week
Hazel Konkel – Cumberland (Tenn.) – Sr. – Middle – DuBois, Ill.

• Konkel tallied 23 blocks over her six matches, averaging 1.15 blocks per set.
• She opened three blocks in the 3-0 win over Bryan.
• Konkel added seven blocks in the win over Doane, while making five blocks against Blue Mountain Christian.
• She also tallied 38 kills on the week and posted a .386 hitting percentage
• Konkel earns her first weekly honor this season and the fourth of her career.

 
MSC Volleyball Setter of the Week
Savanah Jolly – Cumberlands (Ky.) – Jr. – Setter – Louisville, Ky.

• Jolly averaged 11.7 assists per set to help Cumberlands go 3-0 at the Cumberlands Invite.
• She posted 48 assists in the four set win over #17 Montana Tech.
• Jolly added 34 and 35 assists, respectively, in wins over Carolina and Union Commonwealth.
• She added 29 digs and a pair service aces in total for the week to help the Patriots start the season 7-0.
• She earns her second weekly honor this season and the second of her career.
