BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – After posting an NAIA automatic qualifying time in the 1,650-yard freestyle as part of four individual victories at the Dr. Dillery Fall Frenzy, Lindsey Wilson’s Sergio Ybarra has been named the Mid-South Conference Men’s Swimmer of the Week, conference officials announced on Tuesday.

- Ybarra won all four of his individual events against a field that included Campbellsville, Tennessee Southern, Indiana Wesleyan, and West Virginia Tech.
- The junior clocked an NAIA “A” standard time of 15:29.20 to win the 1,650-yard freestyle, finishing nearly two minutes ahead of the runner-up and just 1.65 seconds shy of his own school record.
- He added NAIA provisional qualifying marks and victories in the 500-yard freestyle (4:30.74), 200-yard butterfly (1:53.33), and 400-yard individual medley (4:05.35).
- Ybarra led off the Blue Raiders’ winning 800-yard freestyle relay and swam a leg on Lindsey Wilson’s victorious 400-yard medley relay.
- Ybarra earns his first Swimmer of the Week honor of the season and the fifth of his career.
