ELKHART, Ind. -- Cumberlands' (Ky.) Ruthiik Satti won the 100-yard backstroke national championship today at the 2026 NAIA Men's Swimming & Diving Championships at the Elkhart Health & Aquatics Center.
The Patriots jump to second as a team with 257 points following the third day of action. Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) remains in 11th with 95 points with one day remaining in the championship.
Keiser (Fla.) continues to lead the team competition with 484 points.
Satti led six Mid-South Conference men's swimmers to earn NAIA All-American status on Friday. He becomes the second Patriot to capture a national title in the 2026 championship and the 20th Cumberlands man to win an individual national crown.
Satti out-touched teammate Brandon Holder to claim the title. He touched the wall in 48.09 seconds while Holder finished in 48.14 seconds for a runner-up finish.
Cumberlands' Titouan Bernot -- who won the 500-yard freestyle national championship on Thursday -- finished second in the 200-yard freestyle. He completed the 200 yards in 1:35.22.
Cumberlands' Fabrizio Pacioni and Lindsey Wilson's Sergio Ybarra earned all-American honors in the 400-yard IM. Pacioni finished second with a time of 3:49.92, while Ybarra ended in seventh with a time of 3:59.32.
The final individual all-American honor was taken by Cumberlands' Alexander Poulsen in the 100-yard butterfly. He posted a third-place finish with a time of 47.52 seconds.
The Cumberlands' team added the Patriots' third second-place finish of the day in the 4x400-yard medley relay. The Patriot quartet finished in 3:13.19.
The championship concludes on Saturday with the 1,650-yard freestyle, 200-yard backstroke, 100-yard freestyle, 200-yard breaststroke, 200-yard butterfly, 4x400-yard freestyle relay.
