BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- Four Mid-South Conference teams are ranked in the NAIA Women's Soccer Top 25 Poll, NAIA officials announced on Wednesday.

University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) jumped to the No. 1 spot in the rankings after opening the 2026 season with a 2-0-1 record. The Patriots started the year with a 3-0 victory over Union Commonwealth (Ky.), followed by a 2-1 win over No. 8 Truett McConnell (Ga.) and a 0-0 draw against No. 5 Marian (Ind.).

Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) moved up three spots to No. 13 after starting the season 1-0. The Blue Raiders opened their 2026 campaign with a 2-1 victory over No. 4 Oklahoma Wesleyan.

Cumberland (Tenn.) dropped one spot to No. 20 after starting the season 2-1. The Phoenix opened the year against No. 3 Embry-Riddle (Ariz.), falling 3-1, before bouncing back with a 4-3 victory over Madonna (Mich.) and a 2-0 win over Milligan (Tenn.).

Campbellsville (Ky.) is receiving votes in the first regular-season poll after opening the 2026 campaign with a 3-0-1 record. The Tigers started the season with a 5-0 victory over Brescia (Ky.), followed by a 2-2 draw against Xavier University (La.). Campbellsville then earned a 4-0 win over Union Commonwealth (Ky.) and a 6-2 victory over the University of Pikeville (Ky.).

The top five consists of the University of the Cumberlands at No. 1, defending national champion Keiser University (Fla.) at No. 2, Embry-Riddle (Ariz.) at No. 3, Marian (Ind.) at No. 4, and Indiana Wesleyan rounding out the top five at No. 5.

The second regular-season poll is scheduled to be released on Wednesday, Sept. 16.
