BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- Fifth-seeded Bethel (Tenn.) provided the only upset today on the first day of the Mid-South Conference Women's Tennis Tournament at the Warren County Tennis Facility.
No. 2-seed Cumberlands (Ky.) and No. 3-seed Cumberland (Tenn.) join Bethel as quarterfinal winners today. The trio joins top-seeded Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) -- who earned a quarterfinal bye -- in Saturday's semifinals.
4) Campbellsville (Ky.) vs. 5) Bethel (Tenn.) - Box Score
Bethel knocked off fourth-seeded Campbellsville 4-1 to avenge a regular-season loss to the Tigers.
The Wildcats (11-10) won all four completed singles matches to overcome a 1-0 deficit following doubles action. Sofia Canto provided the most dominant win of the match, dropping just one game in a 6-1, 6-0 win on court two.
Bethel advances to play No. 1-seed Lindsey Wilson at 9 a.m. CT in the first semifinal on Saturday. The Blue Raiders won the regular-season match 6-1 over the Wildcats on Feb. 28 in McKenzie, Tennessee.

Cumberlands did not lose a game in the four completed matches en route to a 4-0 win over No. 7-seed Georgetown (Ky.) on Friday.
The Patriots (15-4) won their two doubles matches 6-0, and secured 6-0, 6-0 wins on courts four, five, and six to advance to the semifinals. The remaining were stopped once Cumberlands reached the four-team points.
Cumberlands faces Cumberland at noon CT on Saturday in the second semifinal. The Patriots defeated the Phoenix 6-1 on March 9 in Williamsburg, Ky.

Cumberland did not drop a set in the matches that finished in a 4-0 win over No. 6-seed Freed-Hardeman in today's final quarterfinal.
The Phoenix (10-8) took the doubles point and a 1-0 lead after wins on courts two and three. Cumberland continued its strong play in the singles, winning at No. 2, No. 4, and No. 5 singles to clinch the team match.
Cumberland advances to face Cumberlands in tomorrow's semifinal.
