BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Lindsey Wilson's (Ky.) Martina Cortal has been named the Mid-South Conference Women’s Tennis Player of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.
 
Martina Cortal – Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) – Sr. – Barcelona, Spain

 

·       Cortal won both her singles and doubles matches in the Blue Raiders' lone match last week.

·       She teamed with doubles partner Mayra Gisone to win 6-1 in the No. 2 doubles match to give Lindsey Wilson the doubles point over Campbellsville (Ky.).

·       Cortal then won her singles match 6-3, 6-2 on court two to help the Blue Raiders to the 7-0 team win.

·       Cortal earns her first weekly conference honor of the season.
