BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- Cumberland (Tenn.) is the lone team to make the NAIA Men's Bowling National Championship, NAIA officials announced on Monday.
Cumberland -- who earned the MSC's automatic bid into the championship -- is the No. 11 seed in the 12-team field. The championship is scheduled for March 19-21 at Royal Scot Lanes in Lansing, Michigan.
The tournament field is divided into two brackets, Blue and Red, each with six teams in a double-elimination tournament.
Cumberland faces No. 6-seed Marian (Ind.) in the first round of the Red Bracket. The match is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. ET on Thursday, March 19. The winner advances to meet No. 3-seed SCAD Savannah (Ga.).
All winner's-bracket matches use the new Mega Match format.
