BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Cumberlands' (Ky.) YuFang Liu has been named the Mid-South Conference Women’s Tennis Player of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.
 

YuFang Liu – Cumberlands (Ky.) – Jr. – Taiwan

·       Liu posted a 3-0 record in singles and doubles last week.

·       She helped the Patriots to a 3-1 week, including wins over No. 22-ranked Cumberland (Tenn.) and No. 18-ranked Dillard (La.).

·       Liu earned straight-set wins while dropping just eight games in the three completed matches.

·       She earns her first weekly conference honor of the season.
