BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- Cumberlands (Ky.) swept the individual awards for the 2025-26 Cheerleading season, conference officials announced today following the championship at Bowling Green Arena.
Cumberlands' Hannah King was selected as the 2025-26 Mid-South Conference Cheerleader and Freshman Cheerleader of the Year.
The All Mid-South Conference First and Second Teams are selected by a judging panel through previously recorded video submissions.
King scored the highest in the all-conference competition, which measures stunts, jumps, and tumbling skills.
The top 10 scores earn first-team all-conference, with the next 10 earning second-team. Ties are not broken.
Following today's championship, Cumberlands' R.J. Conroy was voted by his peers as the MSC Head Coach of the Year. Cumberlands' Phebe Mchargue was voted by the conference's head coaches as the MSC Assistant Coach of the Year. The pair led the Patriots to the conference championship.
