BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Cumberlands' (Ky.) Gabriele Solda has been named the Mid-South Conference Men’s Tennis Player of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.
 
Gabriele Solda – Cumberlands (Ky.) – Jr. – Camino, Italy

• Solda posted records of 2–1 in both singles and doubles play against nationally-ranked competition at the ITA Indoor National Championships over the weekend.
• After falling to eventual champion Georgia Gwinnett, Solda picked up wins at No. 3 singles against Holy Cross (Ind.) and Lindsey Wilson (Ky.).
• Solda and doubles partner Darius Kuster posted wins on court one to help the Patriots to a 2-1 weekend.
• Solda earns his first weekly honor of the season.
