Five MSC Teams Ranked in Final NAIA Men’s Wrestling Coaches’ Poll

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Five Mid-South Conference teams are ranked in the Final NAIA Men's Wrestling Top 25 Poll, national office officials announced on Wednesday.
 
Cumberlands (Ky.) is the highest-ranked MSC team in the poll. The Patriots garnered 145 points, slotting them seventh.  Cumberlands has 10 grapplers ranked, led by Riley Bettich, who is fourth at 133 pounds
 
Campbellsville (Ky.) stayed at No. 8 after earning 144 points. Campbellsville has eight wrestlers ranked in their respective weight classes. Nicholas Yancey and Jasitin Kubwimana are the highest-ranked Tigers in the poll, coming in at No. 4 at 149 and 165 pounds.
 
Cumberland (Tenn.) dropped two spots to 13th, garnering 109 points. The Phoenix have seven wrestlers ranked led by Sammy Shires who sits second at 141 pounds.
 
Georgetown (Ky.) moved up four spots to No. 19. The Tigers earned 57 points, tying with Wayland Baptist (Texas), Keiser (Fla.), and Arizona Christian. Georgetown has five wrestlers ranked, led by Navarro Nanpuya, who is ranked eighth at 184 pounds.
 
Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) fell one spot to No. 25. The Blue Raiders earned 55 points and have five wrestlers ranked. Adrian Ayala is the highest-ranked Lindsey Wilson wrestler, coming in at No. 4 at 141 pounds.
 
Rio Grande (Ohio) is mentioned in the receiving votes section of the poll with 11 points.
 
Grand View (Iowa) holds the top spot in the poll with 260 points, while Life (Ga.) is second with 256 points. Southeastern (Fla.)  is third with 229 points, while Oklahoma City and Indiana Tech round out the top five with 172 and 164 points, respectively.
