BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Indiana Tech’s Bo Geibe has been named the Mid-South Conference Women’s Wrestler of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.
Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.
Bo Geibe – Indiana Tech – Jr. – 160 pounds – Constantine, Mich.
- Geibe went 5-0, capturing the individual title at the Warrior Open.
- She earned a pair of ranked wins while recording four pins and a decision.
- Geibe opened her tournament with a pin in 37 seconds of Anaya Stringer of Brewton-Parker.
- She then pinned Hannah Hernandez of Eastern Oregon.
- Geibe earned her third pin over Trinity Gottler of Midway.
- She picked up a 9-4 decision over Baker’s Hailee Crosland (No. 17).
- In the finals, Geibe pinned Mount Union’s Emma Hanrahan (No. 4 in NCAA Region 4).
- She earns her first weekly honor of the season.
