BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Freed-Hardeman's (Tenn.) Jenna Satterly and Ally Weathers are the Mid-South Conference Women’s Basketball Players of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.

MSC Women’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week
Ally Weathers – Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) – Fr. – Guard – Loretto, Tenn.

• Weathers grabbed eight defensive rebounds and recorded a steal in the Lions' 73-59 road upset of No. 2-ranked Bethel (Tenn.) last week.
• She helped the Lions hold the Wildcats nearly 20 points below their season scoring average.
• Weathers also helped Freed-Hardeman hold Bethel to a season-low 32.2 percent from the field and 17.4 percent from 3-point range.
• She ranks 10th in the MSC this season, averaging 6.3 rebounds per outing.
• Weathers earns the first weekly honor of her career.

 
MSC Women’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week
Jenna Satterly – Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) – So. – Guard – Lawrenceburg, Ky.

• Satterly scored 23 points in the Lions' upset of Bethel last week.
• She connected on four 3-point baskets en route to scoring a season-high.
• Satterly hit eight of her 11 shots, including 4-for-7 from 3-point range.
• She added seven rebounds and an assist in the win.
• Satterly ranks 10th in the Mid-South Conference in scoring, averaging 14.8 points per game.
• Satterly earns her first career conference honor of her career.
