BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Cumberlands' (Ky.) Owen McClure is the Mid-South Conference Men's Bowler of the Week, conference officials announced on Tuesday.
Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.
Owen McClure – Cumberlands (Ky.) – So. – Seymore, Tenn.
- McClure was the top men's bowler at the Hammer/Kegel/ISBPA Collegiate Classic last week.
- He finished 15th out of 473 bowlers, averaging 225.6 in five games.
- McClure saved his best for his last, bowling a 277 in his fifth game of the tournament.
- He helped Cumberlands to a 34th-place finish in the 68-team event.
- McClure earns his first MSC Men's Bowler of the Week honor this season.
