BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Shawnee State's (Ohio) Jaylen Sumler is the Mid-South Conference Men's Bowler of the Week, conference officials announced on Tuesday.
Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.
Jaylen Sumler – Shawnee State (Ohio) – Jr. – Goldsboro, N.C.
- Sumler earned all-tournament honors for his fifth-place finish last weekend at the Greater Pittsburgh Collegiate Classic.
- He completed the individual portion of the tournament with a 205 average in the 137-man tournament.
- Sumler best game was a 246 en route to amassing 615 pins in three games.
- He helped Shawnee State to a second-place finish in the 15-team event.
- Sumler earns his first MSC Men's Bowler of the Week honor this season.
