BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Lindsey Wilson University’s Promise Amasiatu (Track) and Selana Johnson (Field) were named the Mid-South Conference Women's Track & Field Athletes of the Week, conference officials announced Monday. Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.
MSC Women’s Track Athlete of the Week
Promise Amasiatu – Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) – Sprints
- Amasiatu logged two national cuts at the Vanderbilt Invitational over the weekend.
- She ran a 7.52 in the 60m for third overall and an A standard. In the 200m dash, she clocked a 24.92 for eighth and a B cut.

Selena Johnson – Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) – Gr. – Saint Phillip, Barbados– Triple Jump
- Johnson competed in the triple jump at the Vanderbilt Invitational over the weekend.
- She hit an A standard and broke the Blue Radiers school record with a 11.94m leap for eighth overall.
