BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Lindsey Wilson’s (Ky.) Lucia Goncalves and Ana Clara Beltran, and Cumberlands' (Ky.) Sara Zampedri are the Mid-South Conference Volleyball Players of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.

MSC Volleyball Attacker of the Week

Sara Zampedri – Cumberlands (Ky.) – Jr. – Outside Hitter – Flero, Italy.

• Sara Zampedri averaged 4.00 kills per set while posting a .500 attacking percentage as the #20 Patriots went 2-0 on the week to remain unbeaten at 13-0.
• In the sweep over Union Commonwealth, Zampedri registered a double-double with 15 kills and 10 digs, adding three service aces in the win. She also tallied nine kills on a .692 hitting percentage in the victory against Boyce.
• Zampedri finished the week with 24 kills, 13 digs, three aces, and two blocks.
• She earns her second weekly honor this season and the ninth of her career.

 
MSC Volleyball Defender of the Week
Ana Clara Beltran Sacca – Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) – Fr. – Defensive Specialist – Rolândia, Brazil.

• Sacca tallied 14 blocks, averaging 1.17 blocks per set, over the Blue Raiders three matches.
• She posted 13 kills and six blocks in the five-set win over Pikeville to open the week.
• Sacca followed that up with four blocks to go along with 10 kills on a .563 hitting percentage in the victory against Mississippi Valley State, while adding nine kills and four blocks in the sweep over Fisk.
• In addition to her defensive efforts, Beltran Sacca closed out the week with 32 kills, averaging 2.67 kills per set while hitting an impressive .473 on the week.
• Sacca earns her first weekly honor this season and the first of her career.

 
MSC Volleyball Setter of the Week
Luiza Goncalves – Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) – Sr. – Setter – Arapongas, Brazil

• Goncalves averaged 9.18 assists per set to help Lindsey Wilson to a 3-0 week, improving the Blue Raiders to 12-3 on the season.
• She posted 45 assists to go along with two kills and five digs in the five-set win over Pikeville.
• Goncalves added 29 assists and eight digs in the victory over Mississippi Valley State, while finishing with 27 assists and eight digs in the sweep over Fisk.
• She notched 101 assists, 21 digs, 11 kills, four aces, and 11 blocks across the week.
• She earns her second weekly honor this season and the sixth of her career.
