BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Tennessee Wesleyan's Cate Olson is the Mid-South Conference Women's Bowler of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.
Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.
Cate Olson – Tennessee Wesleyan – Fr. – Tuscaloosa, Ala.
- Olson posted a pair of 21st-place finishes last week in the Glenn Carlson Invitational and the Collegiate Shootout.
- She knocked down 1,543 pins for a 192.9 average in eight games at the Glenn Carlson Invitational.
- Olson followed up recording a 193 average -- 965 pins in five games -- at the Collegiate Shootout.
- She helped Tennessee Wesleyan to a seventh-place finish in the 41-team Collegiate Shootout.
- Olson claims her first conference bowler of the week honor this season.
