BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Shawnee State's (Ohio) Maria Mara is the Mid-South Conference Women's Bowler of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.
Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.
Maria Mara – Shawnee State (Ohio) – So. – Tallmadge, Ohio
- Mara posted an 11th-place finish at the Ohio Bowling Conference in Columbus, Ohio.
- She averaged 187.3 in three individual games for the Bears.
- Mara tallied 562 pins in the event.
- Her top game was a 231 in the second game.
- Mara helped the Bears to a sixth-place finish in the 14-team field.
- Mara earns her first conference bowler of the week honor this season.
