BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Union Commonwealth's (Ky.) Abigail Merten is the Mid-South Conference Women's Bowler of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.
Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.

- Merten earned a top-five finish over the weekend at the Roto Grip Raider Classic.
- She tallied 803 pins over four games for a 200.8 scoring average to finish fifth in the individual portion of the tournament.
- Merten's top game came in her third game, where she bowled a 248.
- She was the top MSC bowler at the event.
- Merten helped the Bulldogs to a sixth-place finish in the 15-team field.
- Merten earns her first conference bowler of the week honor this season.
