Hoare Posts Pair of NAIA Bests to Earn Women's Swimming & Diving Recognition

KANSAS CITY, Mo.
 - Cumberlands (Ky.) freshman Bella Hoare earned NAIA Women's Swimming & Diving regular-season recognition to close the month of November, collecting four meet records and a pair of the NAIA's top times in 2025-26 at the Speedo Centre Invitational. 

Hoare, from Kidderminster, United Kingdom, met five A cuts in the event, starting with the 1,650 freestyle, where she clocked an NAIA-best by nine seconds and a meet record in 17:15.72, the second-fastest time in UC history. She also had the NAIA's fastest time this season in the 400 IM, in 4:30.45. 

She later won the 200 fly and holds top-10 times in both the 200 fly and the 200 IM. 

Hoare was also part of four relay wins for the Patriots, breaking the meet record in both the 400 medley relay and the 800 freestyle relay. 

Cumberlands has closed the fall semester portion of the seasonand will resume its 2025-26 schedule on Jan. 9 at Gardner-Webb.
