BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Collecting seven wins during her midseason meet, Cumberlands’ (Ky.) Bella Hoare has been selected as the Mid-South Conference Women’s Swimmer of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.
Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.
Bella Hoare – Cumberlands (Ky.) – Fr. – Kidderminster, United Kingdom
- Hoare posted seven first place finishes with four meet records at the Speedo Centre Invite.
- The freshman clocked times of 17:15.72 in the 1650 free and 4:30.45 in the 400 IM. Both of them were meet records and are the top times in the NAIA this season.
- She followed that up with the top 200 fly qualification mark at 2:10.35.
- In addition to her individual success, Hoare was a part of four winning Cumberlands relays, including a pair of new meet records (400 medley relay & 800 free relay)
- Hoare earns her first swimmer of the week honor of the season and of her career.
