BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Freed-Hardeman’s Lilly Kee and Campbellsville’s (Ky.) Tyra Flowers are the Mid-South Conference Women’s Basketball Players of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.
Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.
MSC Women’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week
Tyra Flowers – Campbellsville (Ky.) – Sr. – Forward – Winchester, Ky.
- Flowers averaged 9.7 rebounds and 4.7 steals per game on the #3 Lady Tigers’ 3-0 week.
- Her week was highlighted by a 12-rebound, four-steal, one-block performance against Webber.
- Flowers earns her second weekly conference honor this season and the fifth of her career.
MSC Women’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week
Lilly Kee – Freed-Hardeman – So. – Forward – Huntington, Tenn.
- Kee averaged 17.3 points for the #6 Lady Lions and their three wins for the week.
- The sophomore finished one rebound short of a double-double (24 points and nine rebounds) against Rust (Miss.).
- Kee earns the first weekly honor of this season and of her career.
