BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Cumberland’s (Tenn.) Triston Conger and Cumberlands’ (Ky.) Malachi Robinson are the Mid-South Conference Men’s Basketball Players of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.

MSC Men’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week
Malachi Robinson – Cumberlands (Ky.) – Fr. – Forward – Birmingham, Ala.

• Robinson blocked 5 shots and snagged 4 steals across two wins for the Patriots.
• Robinson earns the first weekly honor of this season and of his career.

MSC Men’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week
Triston Conger – Cumberland (Tenn.) – Jr. – Guard – Hendersonville, Tenn.

• Conger averaged 22.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game while shooting nearly 66% from the floor in two wins for the Phoenix.
• The junior’s 29-point, 8-rebound, 4-assist game against Welch was the highlight.
• Conger earns his second weekly conference honor this season and the fourth of his career.
