BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Georgetown’s (Ky.) Rashad Bishop and Cumberland’s (Tenn.) Triston Conger are the Mid-South Conference Men’s Basketball Players of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.

MSC Men’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week
Rashad Bishop – Georgetown (Ky.) – Sr. – Forward – Louisville, Ky.

• Bishop averaged 14.3 points and 7 rebounds for the Tigers and their 2-1 week.
• The senior put up a 16-point, 14-rebound double-double in Georgetown’s win over Park and had six key points down the stretch in their victory over #2 Arizona Christian.
• Bishop earns the first weekly honor of this season and of his career.

MSC Men’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week
Triston Conger – Cumberland (Tenn.) – Jr. – Guard – Hendersonville, Tenn.

• Conger averaged 23.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 5.7 assists, shooting nearly 57% from the floor for the Phoenix on their 2-1 week.
• His 32-point performance in Cumberland’s win over St. Ambrose was a career-high.
• Conger earns his first weekly conference honor this season and the third of his career.
