BOWLING GREEN, Ky. –  Cumberlands’ (Ky.) Sara Zampedri and Campbellsville’s (Ky.) Maddie  Pennington and Kati Vest have been selected the Mid-South Conference Volleyball Players of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.

MSC Volleyball Attacker of the Week
Sara Zampedri – Cumberlands (Ky.) – Sr. – Outside Hitter – Flero, Italy

• Zampedri led the way for a pair of Patriots wins on the week with 31 kills and a .518 attacking percentage.
• She opened the week with 14 kills, 4.67 k/s, along with 10 digs in the 3-0 win over Georgetown.
• The senior followed that up with an impressive 17 kills, 5.67 k/s, coupled with 10 digs and a pair of aces as Cumberlands earned the 3-0 sweep over (RV) Cumberland.
• She earns her fourth weekly honor this season and the 11^th of her career.

 
MSC Volleyball Defender of the Week
Maddie Pennington – Campbellsville (Ky.) – Fr. – Defensive Specialist – Nashville, Tenn.

• Pennington pace the Tigers to a pair of wins notched 43 digs and 14 assists on the week.
• The freshman notched 23 digs to go along with eight assists in Campbellsville 3-1 win over Bethel on the week.
• Pennington followed that up with 20 digs and six assists in their five set win over the Lions.
• She closed out the week with a .926 serve reception percentage.
• Pennington earns her first weekly honor this season and of her career.

 
MSC Volleyball Setter of the Week
Kati Vest – Campbellsville (Ky.) – Fr. – Setter – Elizabethtown, Ky.

• Vest tallied 99 assists, averaging 11.0 assists per set, to go along with 23 digs in Campbellsville two wins.
• The freshman dished out 54 assists, 13.50 a/s, along with 12 digs and eight kills as the Tigers tallied a 3-1 win over Bethel. 
• She followed that up with 45 assists, 8 kills, and 11 digs in the five-set win over Freed-Hardeman.
• Vest earns her first weekly honor this season and of her career.
