BOWLING GREEN, Ky. –  Lindsey Wilson's Ola Wyrzykowska, Campebllsville's (Ky.) Maddie Pennington and Cumberlands’ (Ky.) Savanah Jolly  have been selected the Mid-South Conference Volleyball Players of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.

MSC Volleyball Attacker of the Week
Ola Wyrzykowska – Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) – Sr. – Outside Hitter – Wegorzewo, Poland

• Wyrzykowska led the way for a pair of Blue Raiders wins on the week with 50 kills and a .358 hitting percentage. 
• The senior opened the week with 22 kills, 5.50 k/s, to go along with 17 digs and four aces.  In the win, Wyrykowska recorded her 1,000 career dig.
• The senior followed that up with an impressive 28 kills, coupled with 12 digs and an ace in Lindsey Wilson’s tri-match with IU Kokmo and Kentucky Christian.
• On the week, Wyrykowska also notched her 1,000 career kill, making her just the third Blue Raider with 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs.
• She earns her second weekly honor this season and the third of her career.

MSC Volleyball Defender of the Week
Maddie Pennington – Campbellsville (Ky.) – Fr. – Defensive Specialist – Nashville, Tenn.

• Pennington recorded 58 digs, averaging 5.80 d/s, and 12 aces over the Tigers three matches.
• The freshman notched a career-high 35 digs and six aces in a four set match against Cumberland.
• Pennington followed that up with 12 digs in the sweep over Talladega.
• She closed out the week with a .940 serve reception percentage.
• Pennington earns her second weekly honor this season and of her career.

 
MSC Volleyball Setter of the Week
Savanah Jolly – Cumberlands (Ky.) – Jr. – Setter – Louisville, Ky.

• Jolly tallied 71 assists, averaging 11.83 assists per set, to go along with 12 digs in the Patriots two wins.
• The junior dished out 38 assists, 12.67 a/s, along with seven digs as the Patriots tallied a 3-0 win over Bethel. 
• She followed that up with 33 assists, five digs and a kill in a sweep over Freed-Hardeman.
• Jolly earns her seventh weekly honor this season and the eighth of her career.
