MSC Archery Produces Strong Showing at USA 3D Nationals; Records 10 National Titles

FOLEY, Ala. – The MSC Archery teams took to the range over the past three days, tallying 22 podium finishes, including ten national titles at the 2025 HotelPlanner USA Archery Collegiate 3D National Championships, which concluded Saturday night.  The MSC had four teams that finished in the top eight of the final team standings.

Cumberlands (Ky.) tallied 135.5 points to capture national runner-up honors.  The Patriots accounted for 11 podium finishes and five national titles.  UC’s Chase White carded a 407 to edge out the field to win the men’s barebow national title.  Cumberlands tallied a trio of national titles in teams rounds as recurve women’s team, compound women’s team, and fixed pins women’s team all finished atop the podium.  The Patriots final title came in the fixed pins mixed division as Jackson Ratajczak and Ayla Mills combined for the gold medal.

Also earned podiuming finishes for the Patriots were Ceridwyn Salyers (women’s recurve), Lanie Nish (women’s compound), Ratajczak & Caleb Poe (men’s fixed pins).

Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) tallied 62.0 points, including 30 points during team rounds to place fifth at nationals.  Augustus Burtts captured the men’s fixed pins national title after carding a 474.  The trio of Sarah McCarthy, Anastacia Godman, and Maria Sampson notched a 3-0 record to win gold in the women’s barebow team rounds.  Lindsey Wilson also collected a pair of third place finishes from the barebow mixed team and fixed pins mixed teams division.

Pikeville (Ky.) notched a pair of podium finishes, including winning the fixed pins men’s team rounds en route to a sixth-place finish.  The Bears also posted a runner-up finish in the mixed equipment division.  Pikeville closed out the championships with 55.0 points.

Union Commonwealth notched 55 points to place eighth.  The Bulldogs captured a pair of national titles in the compound men’s team rounds as well as the barebow men’s team rounds.  Individually, Kyle Coffey tallied a third place finish in the men’s barebow division.

Campbellsville (Ky.) tallied 11 points from the team rounds to place 11th overall, while Midway notched 9.5 points to finish 13th.  Highlighting the Tigers performances was a third place finish in the barebow women’s team rounds.  Miday’s Terri Applegate earned a bronze medal in the women’s barebow division after carding a 360.

All the archery teams will turn their attention towards indoor season.  The MSC Indoor Championship is set for January 16-18 in Madisonville, KY.
