BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bethel's (Tenn.) Durbin Chacon is the Mid-South Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.
 
Durbin Chacon – Bethel (Tenn.) – Sr. – Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela

• Chacon earned medalist honors at the Missouri Baptist Fall Invitational last week.
• She carded a two-round total of 7-over par 151 (76-75) to win by two strokes.
• Chacon overcame a one-shot deficit in the final round with her 3-over par 75 -- the second best score of the round.
• She recorded three birdies during the tournament.
• Chacon helped Bethel win its second tournament of the season, winning by 50 strokes over second-place William Woods (Mo.).
• Chacon earns her second women's golfer of the week honor this season and the third of her career.
