Bowling Green, Ky- University of the Cumberlands’ Sara Zampedri (Attacker), Juliet Banks (Defender), and Campbellsville’s Jana Krstic (Setter) earned Mid-South Conference Pinnacle Financial Partners Player of the Week honors.
MSC Volleyball Attacker Athlete of the Week
Sara Zampedri – Cumberlands (Ky.) – Jr. – Outside Hitter – Flero, Italy
- Zampedri was nearly unstoppable last week, averaging 5.78 kills per set over three matches and closed out the week with 52 kills.
- Zampedri opened the week with a double-double against Cumberland as she notched 17 kills and 10 digs, while hitting .429. She followed it up with 16 and 19 kills in a tri-match against Defiance and UNOH.
- She earns this honor for the first time this season, as Cumberlands has won this honor 5 out of the 7 weeks.
MSC Volleyball Defender Athlete of the Week
Juliet Banks –Cumberlands (Ky.) –Sr.– Libero – Scottsburg, Indiana
- Banks continues to anchor the Patriots defense, leading them to a trio of sweeps. She tallied 39 digs on the week, averaging 4.33 digs per set.
- She opened with 18 digs in the win over Cumberland, and added 13 digs against UNOH.
- Banks has now earned this honor for the third time this season.
MSC Volleyball Setter Athlete of the Week
Jana Krstic – Campbellsville (Ky.) – Jr. – Setter – Belgrade, Serbia
- The Campbellsville offense runs through Krstic, who set up an average of 13.22 teammates for the kill on the Tigers' flawless week.
- Krstic totaled 119 total assists on the week as she continues to stack up a total 942 assists on the season.
- Krstic has now won this honor for the 5th time this season.
