BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- Cumberlands' (Ky.) Sara Zampedri and Savanah Jolly, and Campbellsville's (Ky.) Brooke Hager are the Mid-South Conference Volleyball Players of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.
MSC Volleyball Attacker of the Week
Sara Zampedri – Cumberlands (Ky.) – Gr. – Outside Hitter – Flero, Italy
- Zampedri averaged 4.0 kills per set and totaled 56 kills while posting a .341 attacking percentage across four matches last week.
- She recorded double-digit kills in all four matches, including 14 kills and 15 digs while hitting .467 in a sweep of Cumberland (Tenn.).
- Zampedri finished the week with three double-doubles, 50 digs, nine service aces and five blocks.
- She earns her second weekly honor this season.
MSC Volleyball Defender of the Week
Brooke Hager – Campbellsville (Ky.) – Sr. – Middle Blocker
- Hager totaled 22 blocks across 11 sets, averaging 2.0 blocks per set, to help Campbellsville go 3-0 last week.
- She recorded nine total blocks against Bethel (Tenn.) and added eight block assists in a sweep of Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.).
- Hager added 26 kills with a .422 attacking percentage and four service aces during the week.
- She earns her first weekly honor this season.
MSC Volleyball Setter of the Week
Savanah Jolly – Cumberlands (Ky.) – Sr. – Setter – Louisville, Ky.
- Jolly averaged 10.8 assists per set and totaled 151 assists across four matches last week.
- She opened the week with 35 assists and 11 digs against Indiana Southeast before adding 33 assists in a sweep of Cumberland (Tenn.).
- Jolly totaled 83 assists across matches against No. 9 Aquinas (Mich.) and Northwestern Ohio and finished the week with 39 digs, six kills and four blocks.
- She earns her fourth weekly honor this season.
