BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- Cumberlands (Ky.) leads two Mid-South Conference teams who earn a mention in the latest NAIA Women's Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 Poll, NAIA officials announced on Wednesday.

Cumberlands dropped 11 spots to No. 21 in the poll, while Cumberland (Tenn.) continues to receive votes.

Cumberlands enters the poll with a 13-3 record after going 4-2 since the previous rankings. The Patriots picked up sweeps over Carolina (N.C.), Columbia International (S.C.), Blue Mountain Christian (Miss.) and Lindsey Wilson (Ky.), while falling in five sets to Bethel (Ind.) and in four sets to Fisk (Tenn.). Cumberlands opened Mid-South Conference play with a 3-0 win over Lindsey Wilson on Tuesday.

Cumberland enters the poll with a 9-10 record after splitting its six matches since the previous rankings. The Phoenix earned wins over Olivet Nazarene (Ill.), Point (Ga.) and Bethel (Tenn.), including a 3-0 victory over Bethel on Tuesday to open conference play. Cumberland's losses during the stretch came against Aquinas (Mich.), Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio) and Cornerstone (Mich.).

Eastern Oregon remains the No. 1 team in the poll with an undefeated 15-0 record and received all 18 first-place votes. Concordia (Neb.) moved up one spot to No. 2, followed by Northwestern (Iowa), College of Idaho and McPherson (Kan.).

The third regular-season NAIA Volleyball Top 25 Poll will be released on October 1.
