Four Mid-South Women’s Soccer Teams mentioned in NAIA Women’s Soccer Poll

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- Four Mid-South Conference teams are represented in the latest NAIA Women's Soccer Top 25 Poll, with three teams ranked among the nation's top 25 and one  receiving votes, NAIA officials announced Wednesday.

The University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) dropped two spots to No. 3 after opening the 2026 season with a 3-1-2 record. The Patriots entered the latest poll ranked No. 1 and remain among the nation's top teams despite the two-spot drop.

Lindsey Wilson University (Ky.) moved up one spot to No. 12 following a 3-1-1 start to the season. The Blue Raiders entered the latest poll at No. 13 and improved their position in the national rankings after five matches, including a win in their most recent match over No. 19 Spring Arbor (Mich.).

Cumberland University (Tenn.) also moved up one position, climbing back to No. 19 after opening the season at the same ranking, now with a 5-2-1 record. The Phoenix were ranked No. 20 in the previous poll and have recorded five victories through their first eight matches of the 2026 campaign.

Campbellsville University (Ky.) is receiving votes in the latest poll after beginning the season with a 5-0-2 record, remaining undefeated as MSC play begins. The Tigers are the fourth Mid-South Conference program recognized in the latest national rankings.

Keiser University (Fla.) moved into the No. 1 position after opening the season 5-0-1 and received 17 first-place votes. Marian (Ind.) moved to No. 2 with a 6-0-1 record, followed by Cumberlands at No. 3. Indiana Wesleyan is ranked No. 4 at 6-0-1, while Embry-Riddle (Ariz.) rounds out the top five at No. 5. Indiana Wesleyan and Embry-Riddle each received one first-place vote.

The third NAIA Women's Soccer Top 25 Poll is scheduled to be released Wednesday, Oct.1.
