BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- Cumberlands (Ky.) and Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) open the 2026-27 season ranked in the NAIA Men's Golf Preseason Coaches’ Top 25 Poll, NAIA officials announced on Friday.

Lindsey Wilson is the top-ranked MSC team, opening the season at No. 4 in the poll. The Blue Raiders received 425 voting points from the national raters. Lindsey Wilson finished fourth at the 2026 NAIA Men's Golf National Championship last May. The Blue Raiders open their fall season at the Blue Raiders Fall Invitational at The Pines at Lindsey Wilson on Sept. 14-15 in Columbia, Ky.

Cumberlands received 103 voting points to open the season at No. 22. The Patriots also reached the national tournament a season ago, tying for 16th after missing the team cut. Cumberlands kicks off its season at the Firehawk Invite at Canebrake Country Club on Sept. 14-15 in Athens, Alabama.

Cumberland (Tenn.) is one of 12 teams that sits just outside the top 25, but still garnered voting points from the raters. Cumberland also opens its season at the Firehawk Invite in September.

Keiser (Fla.) is No. 1 in the poll with 473 voting points followed by Friends (Kan.) with 443 voting points and Dalton State (Ga.) with 433 voting points.

The first regular-season poll is scheduled to be released on Friday, Oct. 16.
