BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Cumberlands (Ky.) captured the 2026 Mid-South Conference baseball regular-season championship this weekend, conference officials announced today.
The Patriots (41-7, 16-2 in the MSC) won all six three-game series during the season, including sweeping the four three-game sets from conference foes.
Cumberlands hit .362 as a team in conference play while averaging 11.3 runs per outing. The Patriot pitching staff posted a 4.76 earned run average while striking out 160 batters over the 138 innings during the conference regular season.
The championship is Cumberlands' 10th in the program's history, including four straight and seven in the last eight years.
The Patriots earn the top seed in the MSC Baseball Tournament, which begins on Tuesday at Bowling Green Ballpark in Bowling Green.
The tournament bracket will be announced later this weekend, following the conclusion of the regular season.
