BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- The higher seeds took care of business today at the 2026 Mid-South Conference Men's Tennis Tournament at the Warren County Tennis Facility.
No. 2-seed Cumberlands (Ky.), No. 3-seed Bethel, and No. 4-seed Cumberland (Tenn.) all won in today's quarterfinals to join top-seeded Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) -- who earned a quarterfinal bye -- in Saturday's semifinals.
4) Cumberland (Tenn.) vs. 5) Campbellsville (Ky.) - Box Score
Cumberland outlasted fifth-seeded Campbellsville 4-2 in the most competitive match of the day.
The Phoenix (8-12) grabbed the early 1-0 lead after taking the doubles point. But Campbellsville responded, winning the first two singles matches of the day to seize a 2-1 advantage.
Cumberland bounced back, taking the final three singles matches, including a three-set thriller on court three as Arthur Fernandes defeated Artur Yakubov 6-1, 2-6, 6-4 to secure the decisive team point.
Cumberland advances to play No. 1-seed Lindsey Wilson at 3 p.m. CT in the first men's semifinal on Saturday. The Blue Raiders won the regular-season match 7-0 over the Phoenix on March 28 in Columbia, Ky.

Cumberlands did not drop a set in its 4-0 win over No. 7-seed Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) on Friday.
The Patriots (15-7) took an early 1-0 lead after sweeping the doubles point. In singles play, Darius Kuster, Thibaud Vivier, and Kesia Roi combined to lose just four games in their straight-set wins to help the Patriots advance.
Cumberlands faces Bethel at 6 p.m. CT on Saturday in the second semifinal. The Patriots beat Bethel 7-0 on April 10 in Williamsburg, Ky.
3) Bethel (Tenn.) vs. 6) Georgetown (Ky.) - Box Score
Bethel swept through its quarterfinal match with a 4-0 win over No. 6-seed Georgetown (Ky.).
The Wildcats (12-9) used the same blueprint as Cumberlands, winning the doubles point and three straight-set singles matches to advance to the semifinals. Bethel's Mateo Prado recorded the decisive point with his 7-5, 6-2 win on court four.
Bethel advances to face Cumberlands in tomorrow's semifinal.
